Allison Edmands

Alison Edmands is a Plymouth, MA CPA holding broad experience in auditing, accounting, financial management, and tax preparation for corporations, S-Corps, LLC’s, and partnerships, including multi-state entities. Having been in public accounting since 2000, she established Waypoint Account Solutions, LLC in 2010. Prior to entering public accounting, Alison spent several years in private industry working in financial services and manufacturing.

 

Although Alison has worked with many varied industries, her greatest expertise lies with employee benefit plan audits, construction accounting and taxation, consolidations, and foreign currency translations.

Alison will provide valuable advice to help you to maintain, grow, or wind down your business. She’ll assist you in performing due diligence, managing your cash flow, strengthening internal controls and financial reporting, assisting with bank negotiations, and planning for taxes. The services she offers are varied and will be of importance to you depending on the goals you have for your business, and on the experience and expertise of your support staff.

Alison’s goal is to get you out of the day-to-day details of your business, so that you can focus your attention on growing your business and enhancing your client relationships. She’ll work together with you throughout the year to be sure that you have properly planned for capital assets purchases, additional insurance liabilities, and business and personal tax liabilities. She’ll advise you as you plan for your future business goals.

Organizations & Community Involvement

Alison is a member of the AICPA, MSCPA, SBANE, the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, and the South Shore Women’s Business Network.  She also sits on a MSCPA committees: the Women in Accounting Committee. She enjoys being a part of LINKS, a fundraising committee developed to support the Friends of the South Shore Hospital.

In her free time (and she does make time for fun), Alison enjoys traveling with her husband to St. Lucia for scuba diving, snorkeling, and sun. She also loves hiking in Vermont, gardening at home, playing tennis, and sailing with friends and family.
